Carlisle United manager Roddy Collins insists he would only consider returning to the eircom League if either Shelbourne or Shamrock Rovers were to offer him the manager's position. The former Bohemians boss, who left the club for the English Third Division side after winning the domestic double last season, has closed the door on suggestions that he could return to the Dalymount Park club after being linked to the post before Stephen Kenny's recent appointment.
According to an interview on the sports.com website, Collins was approached by a number of Bohs fans at Carlisle's Brunton Park last month requesting he return to Dublin. However, Collins is quoted as saying the job wouldn't interest him and only a stint in charge of Shels or the Hoops could tempt him home, clubs he admits won't be looking for new managers for some time.
Meanwhile, the eircom League Premier Division match between Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick's Athletic at Richmond Park, originally scheduled for Friday night, has been switched to Sunday afternoon with a 3.15pm kick-off.
