Spurs rewarded with home draw

After seeing off Fulham with a 2-1 victory in tonight's Worthington Cup clash at Craven Cottage, Tottenham Hotspur were rewarded with a home draw for the quarter-finals against another Premiership club Bolton Wanderers. Newcastle will have to end their dismal record against London clubs if they are to make the semi-finals as they were drawn away to Chelsea while Blackburn take on Arsenal at Ewood Park in the other all-Premiership clash.

There will be at least one Nationwide League club in the semi-finals as Sheffield Wednesday and Watford were drawn together in the other quarter-final. The matches will be played the week commencing December 10.

Worthington Cup quarter-final draw:

Sheffield Wednesday v Watford
Blackburn v Arsenal
