Bayern Munich beat 10-man Boca Juniors in extra-time to add the Inter-Continental Cup to their Champions League and Bundesliga crowns in Tokyo today. Samuel Kuffour scored the only goal of the game in the 110th minute to give the Germans the victory, their first Inter-Continental Cup for a quarter of a century.
Boca had midfielder Marcelo Delgado sent off on the stroke of half-time after Danish referee Kim Morten Nielsen adjudged he had taken a dive in the penalty area.
