Australia and Leeds striker, Mark Viduka, has warned his international team-mates to expect 'dirty tricks' when they come up against Uruguay in the World Cup play-off. The Australians and Uruguayans will face each other over two-legs to determine who wins the last spot in Japan and Korea.
Viduka, who along with Harry Kewell is a certain starter in the matches, said: "I can say this much, they will be a different proposition this time compared to when we last played them. But so will we. We are older and, I think, a lot wiser. I'm sure they will try all sorts of sneaky and shifty tactics but I'm not worried. If it means we get free-kicks, then so much the better. I don't expect it will be anything I haven't seen before."
The first-leg will be played in Melbourne on Tuesday, and the Uruguayan's preparations are being hindered by injuries. Dario Silva, their star striker and top scorer in the qualification campaign, has been ruled out of both legs. That means Uruguay's coach, Victor Pua, has to decide which of his unproven reserves to play in the crunch match.
