Scottish premier league leaders Celtic left it late for the second week running as Henrik Larsson scored with a 90th minute free kick to beat bottom club St Johnstone 2-1 away today. Darren Dodds put Celtic ahead with a flying header into his own net after 20 minutes but made amends with another header from a corner at the right end minutes later.
But just when St Johnstone thought they had secured their fourth point of the season Larsson struck. Celtic, who hit a last-minute winner last week to beat Kilmarnock, move to 37 points, 10 ahead of Rangers, who host Aberdeen on Sunday.
Livingston are still going strong in third, four points behind Rangers, after two goals from David Fernandez helped them to a 3-1 victory at Hearts. Motherwell collected their third victory of the season with a 1-0 home win over Dunfermline, while Dundee and Dundee United drew 1-1 and Kilmarnock drew 0-0 with Hibernian.
