Izzet open to offers

Leicester's newly transfer-listed midfielder Muzzy Izzet has admitted he will be willing to talk to Aston Villa, the club who are current favourites to land the Turkish international. Villa are expected to firm up their interest in Izzet with an £8million bid to the Foxes in the next few days.

Izzet is looking to move to a club where he was more chance of being successful and playing in Europe, and Villa's current high placing in the Premiership plus their location, are attractive commodities to the one-time Chelsea reserve player.

"If Villa come in and are interested, I will have to listen to what they have to say. They are having a great season so far, are a good club with lots of good players and it's also near to where I live in the Midlands," Izzet said. "I would want to know what they are saying but until an offer goes in there is not really much more that I can say. There has been a lot of speculation but until something concrete is done there is no real point in talking about things any further."
