The Republic of Ireland have slipped one place to 23rd in this month's FIFA World Rankings which were announced today. France have held on to the top spot while Brazil stay in second place despite their recent poor form. Northern Ireland have also dropped down a spot to a lowly 106, sandwiched between Wales and Barbados. England are in 14th place while Scotland are ranked 37th.
