Former West Ham manager Harry Redknapp has been appointed director of football at Portsmouth, the first division club said on Thursday. Redknapp, 54, left West Ham last month after seven years at the premier league club.
He has signed a three-year contract with the south coast club and will oversee all off-field activities. Graham Rix remains Portsmouth's team manager.
