Leeds striker Alan Smith has been suspended for two games by UEFA following his sending off during the Champions League semi-final second leg against Valencia last month. Smith was dismissed for a late tackle in the dying minutes of Leeds' 3-0 defeat against the Spanish outfit who went on to lose to Bayern Munich in the final.
England international Smith will miss the opening two games of Leeds' UEFA Cup campaign next season.
