Frank Lampard today signed a five-year contract at Chelsea after joining the Blues for £11million from London rivals West Ham. The 22-year-old England midfielder finally quit the Hammers on the same day that surprise choice Glenn Roeder succeeded Lampard's uncle, Harry Redknapp, in the Upton Park hotseat.
Lampard decided to leave last month after his father Frank senior - Redknapp's assistant - and Redknapp himself left the east London club.
