West Ham midfielder Frank Lampard is set to follow his father out of Upton Park as early as next week with a host of clubs queuing up for the young England star. Former Hammers boss Harry Redknapp - sacked along with assistant Frank Lampard senior earlier this month - confirmed Frank junior will be on his way in a deal likely to be in excess of £10million. "Frank's my nephew and several clubs want him," Redknapp said. "I think Frank has decided he wants to play elsewhere now. His Dad was my assistant and he was very unfairly dismissed in my opinion."
Leeds and Aston Villa are just two big name clubs to have been linked with the player, who has been with the London club since he was a schoolboy. Leeds hinted they will make a bid for the rising young star today when chairman Peter Risdale warned in an interview with the Yorkshire Evening Post that the club will not be making a bid in double figures.
