Shels have done enough: Collins

Bohemians manager Roddy Collins believes Shelbourne have done enough to retain the eircom League Premier Division title. The defending champions almost slipped up against Derry at the Brandywell last weekend, but staged a dramatic comeback to salvage a point.

It gave them a narrow one-point lead over their Dublin rivals, with both teams having two games left. But Collins admitted: "I think Shelbourne have done enough. I'd say that point against Derry is enough for them."

Shelbourne have two tough matches against Shamrock Rovers and Cork, however Collins thinks they have the ability to take six points from the games. "They have a tough game against Cork at the weekend, but I think there is too much at stake for them to lose that one. Rovers' season is all but over, but Cork are still in the running for European place next season."

In addition, they are one of the form teams in the league at the moment as they remain unbeaten under new manager Liam Murphy. (PA)
