Deportivo la Coruna are convinced they will knock Leeds United out of the Champions League this week even though they are 3-0 down from the first leg. The Spanish champions are staring quarter-final elimination following their mauling at Elland Road a fortnight ago.
But midfield man Emerson, who previously came across Leeds during his controversial spell with Middlesbrough, insists his side hold all the aces in the fight to reach the last four.
“Scoring four goals and putting Leeds out will be easy,” said the Brazilian star. “We will be playing as the home side and we are much better than Leeds. I think we have as much chance of progressing as we had before the first leg.” (PA)
