There will be a pitch inspection at the Brandywell tomorrow to decide whether Saturday evening's eircom Premier Division clash between Derry City and Shamrock Rovers can go ahead. If the pitch fails the test, the match is likely to be switched to Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile the league match between Shelbourne and Derry City, which was postponed due to frost last Sunday, has been re-arranged for Tolka Park on Tuesday next, the 23rd of January, with a 7.45 kick off.
The first leg of the League Cup final between St Patricks Athletic and UCD, which was postponed last Tuesday, has now been fixed for Wednesday next with a 7.45 kick off. The second leg takes place on Monday, February 12th. Also St Pats today agreed the sale of midfielder Alan MacNevin to Athlone Town for an undisclosed fee.
