Celtic manager Martin O'Neill admitted that the three points were more important than the performance after the 3-1 victory over Dunfermline at Parkhead. The win became all the more important after they went down to Jason Dair goal after just 50 seconds.
But, despite not being anywhere near their best, they battled back with goals from Lubo Moravcik, Henrik Larsson and Tommy Johnson to put their championship bid back on track. Celtic even had the luxury of missing a second-half penalty when Marco Ruitenbeek saved Larsson's spot-kick.
"I thought that going behind after the previous week was the last thing we wanted," said O'Neill.
"It puts everyone on the back foot, so I am very pleased we came back from that to get the points."
