Celtic defender Alan Stubbs is back in hosptial after he suffered a relapse in his battle to overcome testicular cancer. The 29-year-old, married with two children, suffered a reaction yesterday to the chemotherapy treatment he is receiving. Stubbs had a testicle removed last year and but he had returned to Celtic's squad this season. However, traces of cancer were discovered in his abdomen earlier this month and he was forced to undergo painful chemotherapy treatment at the Beatson Oncology Unit at Glasgow's Western Infirmary. At yesterday's Old Firm derby which Rangers won 5-1, supporters of both teams waved banners wishing the defender well.
