At an Inter Milan press conference this afternoon, Robbie Keane moved to quash rumours that he's on his way to Reggina. When asked about the move, he said, "I can't really comment on that. I haven't heard anything myself from Inter, so I can't really say anything until I hear from the club." Keane maintains he is happy at Inter and remarked: "It's good yeah, it's going well. We lost at the weekend so it wasn't too good, but it's going all right."
There is strong speculation that Keane could be on his way out of Inter Milan. Keane was substituted in last Sunday's 1-0 home defeat against Lecce and it appears that he has slipped to fifth choice striker at the club. And that's not counting Ronaldo, who is expected back from injury after Christmas. Keane has only started four league games this season.
Once the transfer window opens again in Italy in January, it's expected that Keane will go - probably on loan - to struggling Reggina, whose only win in Serie A this season was against Inter, and cost coach, Marcello Lippi, his job.
