Celtic striker Henrik Larsson revealed today that he wants to end his career with the Parkhead club. The Swedish international still has three years left to run on his contract but he is prepared to stay in Scotland beyond that time if the club want him. Larsson has battled back from a career-threatening broken leg and proved his value to the club with his performances and goals this season. The striker's words are a massive boost for manager Martin O'Neill and Larsson insists he and his family are happy to stay in Scotland.
Larsson told Scotland's Daily Record, "I have three years left on my contract and after that, who knows? As long as Celtic want me I will stay. My family are happy in Scotland and that's what is important. Of course I have to like it too but it is a bonus that my family likes it. My son Jordan is three now and growing up a Scot. He doesn't know anything else, Scotland is his home." (PA)
