Saudi Arabia captain Sami Al Jaber has agreed terms with first division side, Wolverhampton Wanderers, the club announced today. The 27-year-old striker will become the first Saudi Arabian to play at such a level in Europe. Al Jaber, from Riyadh club Al Hilal, will join Wolves on a five-month loan deal - with a view to a permanent 3-1/2 year contract - when he receives a work permit and permission from the Saudi Football Federation. The cost of the transfer, which has been negotiated between Wolves and Prince Khalid Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz, could be up to £1.2 million pounds. (REUTERS)
