Juan Gaspart, one of the candidates for the presidency of Barcelona, has said he will try to sign Arsenal duo Emmanuel Petit and Marc Overmars if he wins the Election on Sunday. Gaspart announced at a press conference today that he will fly to London on Monday, if he wins the election the previous day, and begin talks with the Arsenal players and officials in an attempt to sign them for the club.
Gaspart has also targeted Spaniards Alfonso and Ivan de la Pena, who play for Real Betis and Lazio respectively.
