New Sheffield Wednesday manager Paul Jewell is facing the immediate task of finding a goalkeeper.
Just days after Jewell took over the managerial reigns at Hillsborough, Czech international goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek revealed he had quit the Division One club. The 32-year-old Srnicek said: “I have finished my spell with Sheffield Wednesday and I am completely free to talk to anyone now. I have already had offers from abroad. I feel I have another four or five years left to play at the top level. That's what my Czech coach Josef Chovanec believes anyway.”
