Chris Waddle has walked out on Sheffield Wednesday, accusing the club of treating him with a lack of respect. The former England international quit as reserve coach within minutes of Paul Jewell taking over the Hillsborough hot-seat. Waddle is angry at the way he and caretaker boss Peter Shreeves have been dealt with by the club.
He told The Sun, "I'm disappointed, Peter and I were led to believe we had a chance of taking charge permanently, that's why I did not take up the chance of media work for Euro 2000 but instead I have been sitting around for weeks waiting for the club to come to a decision".
