David Ginola's Tottenham career seems over after Spurs accepted an offer from Aston Villa for the French star. The clubs have agreed on a fee, believed to be £3million, and Villa will now speak to Ginola.
Tottenham's director of football David Pleat told the club's media monitor, ‘Yes, Aston Villa have made an offer for David Ginola and after some discussion the club have agreed to allow David Ginola to speak to Villa.’
Doubts were cast last year when towards the end of the season, Ginola was getting less and less first team games and was told by Management that he could no longer insist on getting in the first team every week, however it remains to be seen if the former Footballer of the Year (1999) will be prepared to move from White Hart Lane to Villa Park.
