Arsenal failed to capitalise on a second minute goal by Dennis Bergkamp and had to settle for a 1-0 win over Racing Lens last night, leaving their UEFA Cup semi-final tie balanced on a knife-edge ahead of the second leg. Bergkamp outpaced the Lens defence after being put through by Emmanuel Petit to score with a superbly taken shot after only 93 seconds.
