Roy Keane has boosted his already considerable income by signing a record three-year boot deal with Diadora, who claim the undisclosed sponsorship agreement with Keane, who earns around £50,000 a week from Manchester United, is the biggest in the Italian company's history. At an Old Trafford press conference Andrew Ronnie, managing director of Diadora UK, said they were delighted to extend their four-year relationship with the United skipper.
‘This is by far and away the biggest contract Diadora has ever had. Roy has been tremendous for the brand in the last three-and-a-half years and we will continue to use Roy in all marketing and in worldwide opportunities as well.’
