Liverpool are set to sign England and Leicester City striker Emile Heskey for £11 million in the next 24 hours. The two clubs have agreed a fee for Heskey who will travel with his advisors to Liverpool this evening with a view to finalising the deal tomorrow after Martin O'Neill's efforts to keep him at Filbert Street failed. Heskey, 22, made his England debut last month against Argentina. It means the player known as `Bruno' should be available to make his debut in the weekend Premiership clash against Sunderland at Anfield.
