Cork City failed to get the win they desperately needed at Finn Harps tonight to catch up on runaway league leader’s Shelbourne. The prolific John Caulfield had put Dave Barry’s men ahead after 17 minutes, but 12 minutes from time Harps hit-back, with Minnock’s goal giving them a share of the points. In tonight’s other Premier Division clash mid-table UCD picked up a one-nil win at lowly Sligo Rovers. The students’ winner came from O’Byrne just before half-time.
