Finn Harps made their way into the third round of the FAI Cup last night after a 2-0 victory at home to Home Farm Fingal. Harps won the twice-postponed game at Finn Park with second-half goals from James Mulligan and Johnathan Speake. Elsewhere, the Republic of Ireland Under-18's were held to a 1-1 draw by their Northern Irish counterparts in Newry tonight, in preparation for their Euro play-offs with France on April 5th and 19th. Alan Murphy, the man Galway United signed from Ballinrobe this week, put the Republic in front after 33 minutes, and they held that lead until the 93rd minute, when Phillip Miller equalised for Northern Ireland.
