Marcel Desailly has dismissed rumours that he is preparing to quit Stamford Bridge for Serie A giants, Lazio. The French international impressed the Italian club during Chelsea's recent Champions League clash. But at a conference today, Desailly said that he is commitment to the Chelsea cause, stating that he wants to see out the remaining two and a half years of his existing contract. "We have not received any approach for Marcel. I've spent a lot of time with the Lazio chairman during the Champions League campaign and I know for a fact there has not been an approach," said Chelsea secretary Colin Hutchinson. With the recent results for Chelsea in the Premiership, Manager Gianluca Vialli believes the pressure is really on for them in this Christmas period. But with games against both Southampton and bottom of the table Sheffield Wednesday he is confident of bringing some cheer to Stamford Bridge supporters.
