Soccer: Irish under-18 girls qualify for European semi-fi

The Republic Of Ireland under-18 girls beat Yugoslavia to win their group in the European Championship mini-tournament. They beat Yugoslavia 4 – 0 with goals from Emma Kilduff, Niamh Connolly, Elaine O'Connor and All Ireland football medal winner, Claire Egan of Mayo.

The win means that Ireland are through the semi-finals. The opposition hasn't been finalised, but England and Norway are through as well.
