Ronnie O'Sullivan has revealed he will commute to the World Snooker Championship from Dublin for the duration of his involvement in the tournament.
The 50-year-old will begin his quest for an eighth victory at Sheffield's Crucible, which begins on Saturday and runs through to 4 May.
O'Sullivan warmed up for his latest tilt at a competition he first won 25 years ago with victory in the inaugural John Virgo Trophy, where he comprehensively defeated John Higgins in Sunday's final at Goffs, Co Kildare.
Following the 6-0 whitewash of his long-term rival, O'Sullivan revealed his upcoming commute for the World Championship.
"The crowd here was amazing. Any venue we play in Ireland, but especially here at Goffs, the atmosphere is electric. Amazing," he said.
"I mean I live here quite a lot now. I spend three months a year here. I've always loved coming to Ireland. It has always had a special place in my heart. But having lived here the last year or so, it's been great. I wouldn't have it any other way."
O'Sullivan will begin his tournament next Tuesday.
