World champion Zhao Xintong defeated world number one Judd Trump 10-3 in the final of the Sportsbet.io Tour Championship in Manchester to take his earnings for the season past €1million.
In the process, the 29-year-old became the first man to win all three events in the Players Series in the same season, having captured both the World Grand Prix and Players Championship in February.
Zhao took a 2-0 lead, but was pegged back as Trump made it 2-2 before the Chinese player flexed his muscles.
He won the next three frames on the trot, the latter two with breaks of 91 and 98 before the 36-year-old Englishman stopped the rot to end the afternoon session 5-3 behind.
However, Zhao turned the screw as the evening session got under way, grinding out a 67-48 win in the ninth frame and then rattling off the next three despite managing a highest break of 63 to make it 9-3, and then closed out victory in the next with a visit of 51.
