Judd Trump edged to victory with a 10-9 triumph over Shaun Murphy in the quarter-finals of the Sportsbet.io Tour Championship in Manchester.
The world number one recorded three century breaks – including a 140 in the fourth frame – while Murphy made four tonnes.
With the score locked at 9-9, Trump hit a break of 86 to book his spot in the semi-finals, where he will face either Neil Robertson or Barry Hawkins.
Robertson leads that quarter-final 5-3, while Zhao Xintong also holds a 5-3 lead over Chris Wakelin in their final eight meeting, with both matches set to resume on Thursday.
