Mark Allen put in a dominant display to see off Mark Selby and book his place in the semi-finals of the Players Championship in Telford.
Antrim man Allen raced into a 5-0 lead against Selby, who claimed his 10th Triple Crown title at the UK Championship in December, with five breaks over 50, including a 130 in the fifth.
Allen, who would love to celebrate his 40th birthday on Sunday by winning the title, only needed one more, with Selby preventing the whitewash with a century of his own.
He also won the next, before Allen finished the job.
He'll next play world champion Zhao Xintong after his earlier 6-3 victory over Shaun Muprhy, a triumph which included the tournament's highest break so far, a 142.
