World number one Judd Trump beat Ali Carter 6-2 to book a spot in the final of the German Masters, where he will play Shaun Murphy.
Trump, still chasing a first trophy since the 2024 UK Championship, soon built a 4-0 lead after breaks of 52, 67 and then 87.
Although Carter got on the board with runs of 58 and 64, another half-century break saw Trump, a three-time winner of the German Masters, take the seventh frame before closing out another impressive display.
Earlier at the Tempodrom Berlin, Murphy had opened up his semi-final against Neil Robertson with a break of 122 before making two more centuries as coasted to a 6-1 victory.
