World champion Zhao Xintong made a 147 maximum break as he swept past Welshman Jak Jones to reach the final of Group Six of the Championship League Snooker invitational tournament in Leicester.
Zhao had earlier beaten Jack Lisowski, then lost to Wu Yize before finishing his round-robin matches at the Mattioli Arena with victory over Oliver Lines to make sure of a top-four finish.
The Chinese star then went through the gears in the opening frame of his semi-final to produce the 21st maximum clearance of the World Snooker Tour season, before another impressive break of 124 and 56 in the third frame secured a 3-0 win.
But in the final he was beaten for the second time in the day by Wu, who clinched a 3-1 success with breaks of 52, 127 and 80.
