World number one Judd Trump won six successive frames to reach the final of the Sportsbet.io Champion of Champions tournament with a 6-2 victory over world champion Zhao Xintong.
Zhao started brightly to take the opening two frames in Leicester with breaks of 50 and 72 but Trump roared back to take a 5-2 lead with runs of 68, 73, 77 and 66 among his best visits to the table.
Both players squandered opportunities in the next but Trump eventually prevailed after a break of 63.
He will now play Mark Selby or Neil Robertson in Sunday's final.
