China's Wu Yize clinched his first ranking title with a 10-6 win over John Higgins in the final of the International Championship in Nanjing.
Wu turned a 5-4 interval advantage into an 8-4 lead over the veteran Scot (50), before wrapping up victory in style with his fourth century of the final.
The 22-year-old won 12 successive frames in previous wins over Judd Trump and Barry Hawkins, before beating world champion and compatriot Zhao Xintong in the semi-finals.
Wu had come up short in both of his previous ranking final appearances at last year’s English and Scottish Opens.
