World no 29 Jack Lisowski has booked his spot in the Northern Ireland Open final after a 6-1 demolition of China's Zhou Yuelong.

It’s the seventh ranking final the 34-year-old has reached, and he’ll be hoping to win his first title when he comes up against Antrim’s Mark Allen or Judd Trump, who meet in the evening session at the Waterfront.

Apart from his opener against Pakistan’s Haris Tahir, won 4-0, Lisowski has had to battle his way to the semi-final, but he strolled though here after winning the first four frames to take control.

After taking the opening frame, Lisowski had a 125 clearance and followed ithat up with a break of 124 in the next.

A further break of 66 saw him take a firm grip on proceedings before his opponent, ranked one spot lower at 30, edged a tight fifth frame.

Any hopes of a comeback were all but crushed in the next as the Englishman racked up another break of 125 before confirming his spot in the final in the next.
