Mark Allen beat Jordan Brown in an all-Ulster battle to set up a Northern Ireland Open semi-final meeting with world number Judd Trump.

Brown hit breaks of 131 and 120 but was never ahead as he lost 5-2 to his fellow Antrim man.

Trump also earned a 5-2 victory over four-time world champion John Higgins.

The world number one booked his place in the semi-finals with a dominant display, with five breaks in excess of 70 and wrapped up victory in style with a 121 run.

Jack Lisowski knocked defending champion Kyren Wilson out with a 5-3 quarter-final victory.

Lisowski had breaks of 104 and 76 along the way to defeating Wilson and will face Zhou Yuelong in the last four after he edged to a 5-4 win over Tom Ford.
