Jackson Page made snooker history this afternoon as he recorded a second 147 in the same match to beat Allan Taylor 10-2 in the third round of World Championship qualifying.
Page made the first 147 maximum break of his career yesterday in the opening session of the match.
Holding a 6-1 lead, he moved into a 9-2 advantage earlier today before what proved to the clinching frame.
The Welshman completed a second maximum to seal the victory and land a £147,000 bonus on offer from the World Snooker Tour.
The prize is for making two 147s in Triple Crown events in the same season, with Page completing the feat in a single match.
He is also in line for the £10,000 bonus for a maximum during qualifying as well as the £15,000 high break prize for the event.
Page still has to win one more match to qualify for the Crucible which begins on Saturday.
He reached the first round last year before being beaten by Ronnie O'Sullivan.
