Ronnie O'Sullivan has pulled out of next week's German Masters, citing "medical reasons".
The 49-year-old also withdrew from the Masters at Alexandra Palace earlier this month and it is unclear when he will return to action.
The seven-time world champion was due to play Dylan Emery in his first-round match next week in Berlin. Emery has received a bye to the last 32.
A World Snooker Tour statement read: "Ronnie O'Sullivan has withdrawn from next week's Machineseeker German Masters due to medical reasons.
"O'Sullivan was due to play Dylan Emery in his opening match. Emery will now receive a bye to the last 32."
