Fergal O'Brien missed out on a place at the Turkish Masters after falling to a 5-1 defeat to Lyu Haotian in Leicester on Sunday.
The Dubliner drew level at 1-1 but then lost the next four frames as his Chinese opponent knocked in three half-centuries.
O'Brien has had a solid season as he battles to secure his tour card. He reached the last 16 of the Scottish Open and has already secured a place at the upcoming European where he will play Wu Yize in the last 64.
Earlier in the week Jordan Brown and Cork teenager Aaron Hill booked their spots at the event in Antalya, while Ken Doherty and Michael Judge missed out.
