Aaron Hill has qualified for the Turkish Masters after being Pang Junxu 5-4 today in Leicester.

The Cork teenager led 3-1 and 4-3 but couldn't shake off the world number 64, before finally taking the match with a composed break of 76 in the decider.

Hill has dropped to 132nd in the one-year ranking list, but he will now have the chance to move back up over the next few weeks.

The Turkish Masters, which are being held in Antalya, is a ranking event, as is the European Masters, which the 19-year-old qualified for earlier in the season.

Elsewhere, Mick Judge was beaten 5-1 by Martin O'Donnell, while Ken Doherty lost out to Anthony Hamilton on a 5-3 scoreline. Meanwhile, Jordan Brown hit five half-tons as he beat Bai Langning 5-2.
