Reanne Evans was unable to qualify from Group Three at the Championship League.
The 12-time and reigning women's world champion, getting her season on the main tour under way, opened up with 2-2 draws against Simon Lichtenberg and Tom Ford.
But, needing a victory from her third match to have a chance to progress, Evans fell to a 3-1 defeat to Simon Blackwell.
Ford beat Lichtenberg 3-1 to finish top of the group and qualify for stage two.
