Mark Allen was comprehensively beaten by Judd Trump in the quarter-finals of the Gibraltar Open on Sunday at Milton Keynes.

The World Number 1 knocked in century breaks of 131 and 104 in a 4-0 whitewash, and will play Matthew Selt in the semi as he aims for a fifth tour win of the season later tonight. Selt had a similarly comprehensive 4-0 win over Chris Wakelin.

For Allen, it ended a week which had seen him secure victories over Jamie Curtis-Barrett, Iulian Boiko, Hossein Vafaei and Ricky Walden.

Elsewhere, Stuart Carrington booked a last-four spot with a 4-1 over Xiao Guodong, and he'll play Jack Lisowski who won a decider against Lu Ning.
