Defending champion Judd Trump swept past Alexander Ursenbacher 4-0 to book his place in the quarter-finals of the Gibraltar Open against Mark Allen.
World number one Trump had earlier needed just over an hour at the Marshall Arena to dispatch Robert Milkins by the same scoreline in their third-round match on Saturday afternoon.
Trump reeled off two half-century breaks against Swiss cueman Ursenbacher before finishing with a 128 clearance to move into the last eight, where he will face Allen on Sunday, when the tournament will be played to a completion with the final in the evening session.
The Ulsterman came through 4-1 against Ricky Walden in their fourth-round match on Saturday evening.
Matthew Selt and Chris Wakelin also secured their places in the quarter-finals.
Selt beat Soheil Vahedi 4-1, while Wakelin ended the run of veteran Jimmy White, who had earlier reached the last 16 of a ranking event for the first time since 2017 as he won 4-3 against Chen Zifan.
Jack Lisowski will face Lu Ning of China for a place in the semi-finals.
In the last 16, Lisowski recorded a 4-1 win over Anthony Hamilton, who had earlier knocked out former world champion Shaun Murphy by the same score.
The remaining quarter-final, which starts on Sunday morning, will be between Stuart Carrington and Xiao Guodong of China.
Carrington came through his fourth-round contest against David Gilbert 4-0, while Xiao hit a break of 109 and two half-century clearances in a 4-1 win over Welshman Jamie Clarke.
