Judd Trump booked his place in the last four of the Champion of Champions tournament with a dominant display against David Gilbert in Milton Keynes.
The world number one equalled the record for the most centuries in a best-of-11 match, hitting five in his 6-3 victory.
Trump opened with a 103 break, but Gilbert rallied to take the next two frames of the group final.
The 31-year-old took the next three frames, before sealing the match with breaks of 107 and 138 to join defending champion Neil Robertson at the semi-final stage.
Earlier, Trump breezed past Stuart Bingham with a 4-0 win to set up his clash with Gilbert, who held off a fightback to beat Shaun Murphy 4-2.
World numbers four and five Mark Selby and Kyren Wilson will compete in Group 3 on Wednesday, alongside Stephen Maguire and Luca Brecel.
