World Snooker Championship Covid-19 tests all clear

The second round of coronavirus testing at the World Snooker Championship has returned no positive results.

All 120 tests carried out on players, officials and staff came back negative ahead of the start of the quarter-finals on Monday.

A World Snooker Tour statement read: "This was the final scheduled round of tests at this year's event.

"All social distancing and safety measures will remain in place at the Crucible for the rest of the tournament."
