In the early hours of Monday, 29 April 1985, a drama of a different sort was unfolding at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.
Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor were locked in a pulsating battle to decide that year's World Snooker champion. From 8-0 down, Taylor forced his way back into the contest and again at 17-15 in arrears, the Co Tyrone native showed his resilience to take the match to a final frame.
It would come down to the black and after Davis missed a great chance to clinch a third crown on the trot, Taylor composed himself to knock the black in to win and so bring to an end a marathon contest.
And so 35 years on, how much do you remember from one of the standout sporting moments of the 1980s?
